An important message from Fr. Tom about this Sunday's *SPECIAL MASS*
Join me and our community of Parishioners to celebrate its Patronal Feast Day -- Blessed Carlo Acutis -- with a special mass this Sunday, Oct. 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig. This Parish Feast Day Mass will be the ONLY Mass celebrated Parish-wide that day (there will still be a Saturday night 5p Vigil Mass).
In this celebration, we are not just commemorating a saintly figure; we are reaffirming our commitment to creating a sanctuary of acceptance and love. It's a reminder that our community is not defined by the walls of our parish but by the compassion that flows among us. We create a beautiful community when we open our hearts to one another, accepting flaws and imperfections, and embracing the humanity that binds us. As we come together on this special day, let us carry this spirit of acceptance and love beyond the festivities. Let it permeate our daily interactions, becoming the foundation upon which our parish stands. In the legacy of Blessed Carlo Acutis, we find the inspiration to continue building a community where everyone belongs, and where the beauty of acceptance paints the canvas of our shared journey.
