Parish Mission

Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino will celebrate a Parish Mission and Mass at 11:00 AM on Sunday, Sept 6, 2026, at St. Hedwig, 2226 N. Hoyne, Chicago, IL. Please note: There will be no other Masses the weekend of September 5–6.

The mission will focus on Jesus Christ as the center of Christian life, inspired by the witness of Saint Carlo Acutis and his spiritual connection to Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. The visit also commemorates the 800th Jubilee of Saint Francis, proclaimed by Pope Leo, and the first anniversary of Saint Carlo Acutis’ canonization.
Archbishop Sorrentino will also lead parish missions throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago during his visit. More information to come as the celebration approaches.
